Avery Ariano '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Avery Ariano and I have been playing volleyball for 6 years. For my most recent club team, I was an outside hitter, but my primary position is setting. I fell in love with volleyball after playing for my 6th-grade school team. Since then, I continued to play school volleyball and joined a club team in my 7th-grade year.  I was hooked! I enjoy the close relationships that are formed through each season and I love the energy that is created on the court during a challenging game.

I have learned great leadership skills through playing Volleyball. I was captain of my high school team three years in a row and was MVP my freshman year, best offense player my sophomore year, and MVP again my junior year.  I was captain of my 16’s club team as well. My favorite and most important award is my MVP 15’s club award because it was voted on by my teammates. It was such an honor!

 I currently carry an overall GPA of 3.8 while being enrolled in AP, and honors classes, and being part of the French Honors Society. I take my studies seriously and enjoy the challenge. Academics are very important to me and I hope to go to a college that can help me pursue a degree in Psychology. My main goal is to work with young athletes, helping them overcome the many challenges of being a student-athlete.
