Sydney Nielsen '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sydney Nielsen. I am from BC, Canada. I have been a starter player at Casper College Wyoming for the last two years. I have had great success with Casper Jr. College receiving presidents honor roll two years in a row and maintaining a consistent GPA of 3.5.  I hope to bring my success and bring it to another great school.  This year I was one of the top 2 OH blockers in our league. In my past, I have received female athlete  2 years in a row at my level 4A high school and also the 2 years before that in my 1A school in Alberta. 

I have been told I am an encouraging spark to others and a leader on the court.   Rewards I have received in the past were 2 leadership awards for helping and motivating others while attending Newell Christian School in Alberta.  I am very proud to say that my Jr. Heat Club team took 1st in 2014 Provincials and 5th at National,  both for which I was a starter.
