I have spent the last few years playing volleyball, and I have fallen in love with it. I train year round playing school volleyball in the fall, club in the winter and the spring, and beach in the summer. I am a motivated and disciplined individual, always willing to work for what I hope to achieve. I pride myself on being a very coachable player who is always looking for new ways to better my game and volleyball IQ.
Throughout my time playing volleyball so far, I have gained experience in multiple positions such as outside, opposite, middle, and libero/defensive specialist. I am primarily an outside hitter but I have learned to become adapted to any position a coach may have me in and treat it as a positive challenge to play positions I am less familiar with.
I am a hard worker in the classroom where I maintain a GPA of 4.0. I am particularly strong in English-based courses rather than maths and sciences, and I hope to study Psychology, creative writing, and/or communications as a part of my post-secondary education. Both media management and journalism are areas of interest for potential career pathways.
I hope to attend a competitive and supportive university or college near home where I can further both my academic and athletic skills.
