My name is Leilah Tashakorian and I attend La Jolla Country Day here in La Jolla, California. I believe what makes me a good candidate for your team is that I am an aggressive player. I chase after every ball because I don't like to let my team mates down. If my job is to defend, then I will defend and I won't give up. One thing that will set me apart from the other recruits is that I'm a loud and energetic player. You will definitely hear me from a distance. I love to be loud to be able to cheer up my team mates in hard times.
My Family comes first and my team mates are my family. Most of my family played volleyball growing up. While I was growing up, my older sister Diva played for Coast. I really looked up to her and wanted to be exactly like her. She started to play with me when I was about 4 or 5, but when I was 7 I started playing with clubs and more games with my sister. Even though she was a middle and I am a libero/ds, I learned so much from her and I will continue to learn from her throughout my life.
