BIG SWINGS Personal Statement
I am relentlessly keeping my dream of playing in college alive even though I did not make the high school team this year. I play volleyball on a co-ed net at Brea community center and hitting over it is a challenge; but, I love the challenge as much as I love volleyball. I hope to play club again my senior year and possibly make the school team again. I am willing to work towards any opportunity to play in college. I understand the disadvantage I have compared to the taller hitters, but I am determined to work through that.
