Volleyball has been more than just a sport to me, it’s been part of my life since 3rd grade. I started out playing on the CREST after school program in my elementary school through middle school but when I came to high school the level of playing was completely different. Starting my sophomore year I began playing club and learned what it takes to be a good athlete. I practiced hard and did whatever it took to make myself better. This past 2016-2017 year I earned captain on my team for my dedication and enthusiasm I express on and off the court. With another captain we lead the team to a division win in our last souiree. Being part of a team is being part of a new family. We need to work together and show that we mean business. I have always given 110% in playing because it something I love to do. When making a mistake I don’t get down on myself because it only allows me to grow more in my potential learning right from wrong.
