Volleyball is the one thing during the day that I do not want to end. I tend to find myself enjoying the serious and demanding drills in practice more than the fun drills. Improvement and skill development are what I focus on because I know that’s what I need. As I gain experience with the game, I appreciate it more. I love playing volleyball because of how much of a team it requires you to be. The challenge of getting everyone to unselfishly believe in “team” frustrates me at times but my focus on my goals doesn’t allow that to discourage me. I know that high - level programs have an expectation of balance and utilization of all of the team’s strengths. I strive to become better so I can experience the best volleyball there is. Volleyball is the sport where I have had the most fun, and I look forward to finding a program that is serious, but also emphasizes fun on and off the court.
