Kyla Barker '21 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals and aspirations are to be a D1 or D2 athlete at a 4 year college with supportive, loving teammates and coaches. Primarily I seek to find a college where academics are just as important as sports, because I strive to do well, and have academic success. What makes me different from other recruits is I will leave my heart out on the floor no matter what because I am a team player. Also, I am very uplifting and cooperative because I do not like seeing anyone down on themselves. My goal is to always have a smile on my face and to be easy going, even when my team is losing, but I will be assertive on the court if I need to be. My coaches have taught me to be a very versatile volleyball player, and push myself to work as hard as needed and do whatever it takes to help my team get to the level they desire.
