Aloha,
My name is Alyssa Butler, I am a Junior at the prestigious Hawaiʻi Preparatory Academy. My primary position is libero and I am also a defensive specialist. I've been playing volleyball since sixth grade. One thing about me is I am very hard working and self driven, when working on a new skill I won't stop until I have it mastered. For example, when I started playing volleyball I could not serve at all but now I manage about 5 aces per set. Currently I play for Puʻuki Volleyball club as the primary/starting libero.
Besides playing collegiate volleyball my other dream is to become a neurosurgeon. I am very passionate about my academics, I've managed to keep a 4.0 GPA throughout my freshman and sophomore year.
