Kayla Magbaleta '15 Recruiting Profile

I have played volleyball for six years. The first and only club team that i have been a part of is Mililani Volleyball Club since sixth grade. Throughout the starting years of volleyball i've been outside hitter for club and middle school but started to realize that i loved to dive for the balls, i could read the hitters well, and i was consistent in my passing so from then on i've been Libero for both club and Varsity volleyball. I have been so grateful to have been a part of an OIA championship placing first in OIA's in junior year, placing third in the state and also being placed on the OIA West's second team along with well known Sarah Liva. 

What makes me a great candidate for your team is that i may not be tall in height but i am very fast on my feet. I hustle for every ball even if it means sacrificing my body to get the ball up. No matter what i do, i do my best to portray self discipline. I strongly believe in teamwork and utilizing every ones talent to benefit the team as a whole. I also believe in working hard not only on the court but off the court whether it is improving on my studies, going to the gym or eating healthy.
