Rebekah (Becca) Hinckley '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Rebekah Hinckley.  I am 17 years old and a 6'3" middle and right-side hitter from Star, Idaho. I started playing volleyball in 6th grade, and by 7th grade, I was playing club volleyball for a local team. During my 8th-grade year, I joined Idaho Crush and have played in both regional and national tournaments. My experiences playing club and school have taught me a lot about who I am as an individual and as an athlete.  My love for the sport has grown and so has the desire to play at the next level. I am hardworking, selfless, motivated, and driven.  Although volleyball is a huge part of my life, I also believe in being a well-rounded individual.  My parents believe in hard work and learning to be independent while in your youth.  At the age of 10, I started working jobs and have had a job since.  Academics are also something that are important to me. I realize the importance of getting a good education so that I can provide for myself in the future after I have finished volleyball.
