My name is Zoë Levitt, I am a 2024 setter from Chicago, and I have been playing volleyball for 5 years. I fell in love with the sport in 6th grade, on a search to find a new sport after I had recently finished a 10-year gymnastics career. I learned many things from gymnastics that I brought to the volleyball court, most importantly, how to how to work as a team-player and stay humble. Ever since our 6th grade volleyball team won our first city championship, I knew I wanted to play at the collegiate level.
In volleyball, I always try to think beyond myself. I constantly work to be the best teammate I can be, and contribute to the greater goal of team success. I am a team player, I work from the heart, and I am always willing to put in the work to improve both on and off the court.
In school, I currently have a 4.3 weighted GPA, and take all-honors classes with the exception of AP US History. I aspire to major in either political science or business, and minor in an art, with a goal to work directly after college, either at my dad‘s workplace or with local politicians.
I truly believe that I can be an asset to any team, both as an athlete and a friend. In college, I will continue to work hard to be the best version of myself both on and off the court.
