I began playing volleyball in 4th grade and ever since I started, I knew that it was the sport for me. I have played many different sports growing up but volleyball has always been the sport I continue with and want to grow and improve on as a player on the court. Playing volleyball for 8 years has really taught me some of the important lessons that I would have only learned if I started playing. I have learned how important it is to work as a team, what it means to be a leader and take control on the court, and how to always remain confident in situations where it may get hard. Every time I step onto the court I make sure to give all of my effort to be the best player I can be and learn new skills and abilities . I would love to continue playing volleyball in college because I have made the some of the best relationships with people and it continues to keep me on track. Volleyball in fact does makes me the person I am today.
