HighlightsPersonal Statement
I plan to study education to become an elementary school or physical education teacher and volleyball coach one day. I love to compete both in practice and in games. There is nothing better than being on a team with dedicated teammates and coaches working hard to get better everyday. My club team has become like family. We come to practice to get better every week, support each other through the ups and downs, and expect to compete for the championship in every tournament we are in.
At outside hitter I can mix up my swings and hitting different spots on the court. I really enjoy mixing things up and doing my best to keep the defense off balance. I am always talking with my coaches and setter as to what we may want to run and where our best place to score looks to be. From the serve line I have a very effective jump float that has some movement that is fun to place at different spots and speeds to keep the defense guessing. As a passer I have played left back mostly and some middle back. I'm more experienced in left back and have really improved my ability to read what the other OH may be doing based on the block and her arm swing. I have very good speed and quickness. I am a student of the game and love to learn and grown as a player. I am looking forward to joining my new volleyball family.
