My collegiate goals and aspirations are to become a Doctor of Osteopathy. I became interested in becoming an Osteopath when my grandmother was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2014. My mother started researching alternative therapy for my grandmother, rather than traditional treatment of chemo/radiation, due to my grandmother's prior medical history. Not a "recognizable" treatment for improving or treating cancer/diabetic patient's, we have personally experienced an improvement in my grandmother's numbers in both areas of Leukemia and diabetes. She attributes her number lowering changes to osteopathic treatment. I want to change lives with alternative methods of treatment vs. traditional ways, for high risk patients.
I would be a great candidate for EVERY team because I am the total package of exceptional grades, extraordinary character and coachable attitude. I bring both leadership qualities and athletic ability along with personal and team goals. I am self motivated and always looking for ways to self improve in the classroom and on the court. I love leading and encouraging others and have a genuine heart and joy in watching them achieve greatness and success. I've been blessed with parents that have provided a firm foundation of religion, love, values, work ethic and dedication in providing my brother and I every opportunity in accomplishing our goals, dreams and heights in success; in all areas of life. My high school coaches and outside volleyball trainers have been a HUGE influence on my volleyball knowledge, progression, and success while offering an array of wisdom on and off the court. These wonderful individuals, role models and motivators I cannot thank enough for encouraging me to, "just play your game, never stop working and respect yourself". I want to be admired and as influential to another, as they have been to me...I am truly grateful for all I have been given and have accomplished because of all of these individuals in my life.
