I am Aubrey Mannery, a 2025 Libero/DS. I have been in sports my whole life starting out in competitive gymnastics from age 3. I found myself gravitating to team sports and have continued in Volleyball, Track and Basketball. I love volleyball and find that is my true passion in sports. I want to play college volleyball in a highly competitive environment. I also plan to study pre-law and eventually attend Law School. I give my all to my teams and have been the team captain on my Varsity school team, and on my club teams. I also assist in camps for our community's younger players and coordinated all the Varsity team summer open gyms for our school.
I have attended the IMG Academy, been on a club team since 8th grade and continue to play for our school and on a national club. I am an all around athlete and always give 110% to my team. A perfect example is this year our school team graduated 5 players from our Varsity team. I have been on the Varsity team since 9th grade and have traditionally been the libero. We did not have enough experience in our hitters and my coach approached me to change roles on the school team to benefit the team. He was able to bring up a libero from JV, but didn't have a hitter to bring forward. So this school year I played all around and was a right hitter. I am the current team captain as a junior and felt I needed to put the team first. Yet, I am still libero for my club teams and certainly have more experience and skills in that role. I am excited for our club team this year as we are a national team and are planning on nationals in Florida this year.
