Volleyball has always been apart of me and has crafted me into the person I am today. I was raised to love the game. My mother was an outstanding volleyball player. She won numerous state championships, a national championship, and later played Division 1 college volleyball for the University of Louisiana Monroe. My mom has set many standards for me and has given me goals to strive for. Although I have not been as fortunate as her to be at a top notch high school in Minnesota, I have had my own unique opportunity. I've been a member of the varsity team and even started since the sixth grade. I have been pushed by tough competition to mature and learn the game of volleyball at a very young age. I have worked hard to further my skills in volleyball as well as my vertical, speed, and agility. Being a three sport athlete is tough, but it has allowed me to combine my skills and improve on the intangibles. Volleyball, basketball, and track and field have helped strengthen me physically as well as mentally. In volleyball, I have been fortunate to win two Class A Region Championships, two All Class Region Runner- Ups, three All Class District Championships, as well as being named  to the All District Team since the 7th grade and the All Region team since the 9th.  Playing volleyball in college is something I have always wanted and my defensive and serving skills would be an asset to any team.
