Kaitlin Price '22 Recruiting Profile

Even though my volleyball career is just beginning, I have been participating in athletics activities since the age of three.  It started with dance and gymnastics, but eventually my focus turned to soccer where I progressed to the premier level as a starting defensive back for 3 years. After being introduced to competitive volleyball in the 8^th grade, I knew instantly that volleyball was the sport that I wanted to play. I was forced to decide between soccer and volleyball as a freshmen and I feel that in the short time I have played competitive volleyball, I have made the correct decision.  

At the age of 10, my mother passed away from cancer. It was a very difficult time for my family and me but, it has shaped the person that I am today. I am stronger and more determined knowing that life is what you make of it and tomorrow is not guaranteed. I feel that I am more committed and work harder than others to achieve my goals either academically or athletically.  My father’s support, encouragement, and athletic achievements also fuel my passion to play at the college level.

My future goals academically are to become a member of my high school’s National Honor Society and have a GPA that will allow me to obtain scholastic scholarships.
