2014-2015 Highlig...Personal Statement
I am a three year Varsity starter for the Wayzata Trojans. I play 6 rotations as an outside hitter and in my sophomore season led my team in kills and digs.
I have been in the USAV High Performance program for 4 years and have been on the Continental Team twice as an outside hitter and the past two years in the libero position. I also attended the USAV HP Holiday camp in 2013 and 2014.
My club team at MN Select finished in 5th place at the 2015 AAU Nationals.
It is important to me to find a school with strong academics and a great volleyball program. I approach athletics similar to how I approach my academics. I always give 110%. I love to learn and I always work hard and do my best. I love to be challenged and I love to study and play with people that can make me better.
I am very well rounded in that I have played the violin, piano, flute and am currently in the choir at my high school. I am active in my church youth group and enjoy doing mission work, when my schedule allows.
