As the oldest of five children, I have always held my expectations for myself very high. Being a good role model to my younger siblings is important to me. I always want them to look up to me and be proud to call me their big sister. Many people would describe me as a kind, caring, friendly, and happy person. I believe those qualities describe me well and that my personality is one of a kind. I have many goals I plan on achieving with hard work and dedication toward school and volleyball. I am a 4.0 student who puts school before anything. I love being involved in my school community and being a leader is something I also enjoy. I am outgoing and strong-minded, when needed, I can take charge and get the job done. In the future, I plan on getting my Doctorate of Psychology. My dream job is to be a therapist with a focus on adolescents. I started playing at my local recreation center in third grade and continued until sixth grade. I have been playing volleyball for six years. During all three years of middle school, I made the volleyball team. After several years of attending camps and clinics at Silver State Volleyball Club, I finally convinced my parents to let me try-out for their club volleyball team. This season has been incredible for my growth as a volleyball player and teammate. I plan to continue playing both club and school volleyball throughout high school. I always look forward to any opportunities to improve my skills and understanding of the game. I'm a very coachable player and a fast learner. If volleyball has taught me anything it is tenacity. I know I’m going to continuously make mistakes in volleyball and life but giving up isn’t an option. If you give up, that teaches you nothing and doesn’t help you grow. I am excited about my future and look forward to learning all that I can to achieve my goals!
