Genesis Perez '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Genesis Perez, I am a Setter/DS for my high school JV/Varsity team and also for my Club Volleyball Team.  I have been playing volleyball for 6 years and I look forward to playing every year.  Due to the respect that I have for my teammates, when I step on to the court, I give it 100 percent. It doesn't matter if it is practice or a game.  At the end of the day, you practice how you are going to play the game!

In 2017, as a setter, I led my club team to the Girls Junior National Championships (GJNC) tournament in Minneapolis, MN.  In 2018, I made the transition to D/S for my club volleyball team and again we qualified and participated in the GJNC in Detroit, MI. These elite tournaments have helped me broaden my knowledge, skills, character and discipline that I will eventually carry over to the next level. 

I am seeking for the highest level of volleyball and academic excellence. I am currently a freshman in high school. I love to compete and look forward to the challenges that the medical programs and volleyball will bring. I am a firm believer that everything in life is earned through hard work and perseverance.
