Gabrielle Miller '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Gabby Miller I am currently 17 years old and a junior at St. Anthony’s High School in Melville, NY. I am in my 4th year of competitive volleyball this club season. However I have been playing volleyball since the 3rd grade played on my middle school team 7th and 8th grade. I am a multi sport athlete I play field hockey and basketball as well as softball outside of school , but I have came to the realization I want to play volleyball and that is what truly makes me happy. The reason why I wanted to play volleyball compared to others is because I feel I can be happy playing it while also pursuing an education. Academics are just as important as athletics. I have been on High Honor Roll with since Grade School and have won multiple academic honors in Junior High/High School. I participated in my middle schools Drama Club where I was dance captain and a member of the pit for 3 years. I have also volunteered to help coach volleyball clinics and camps for young girls. I am an academic tutor at my school and am a member of NHS where I volunteer for incoming freshman tours and student fundraisers. I am very interested in receiving a high level education along with the opportunity of playing volleyball at a collegiate level.
