My Goal in college is to make my parents proud and this is through the medical field. My parents really enjoy the medical field and I love helping others. My parents aren't from here, so I use every opportunity I get to make them proud. Since the 2nd grade , I have enjoyed playing sports with the “ boys”. Though I would get told sports weren't for girls my age and that I was incapable of playing, I never let that stop me from playing. Football, basketball, volleyball, track, and soccer. Were all sports I fell in love with in second grade. My male classmates' negativity was just motivation for me to continue playing. Using my athleticism can help me get into better colleges, not just my academic skills. I would be a good candidate for your team because I know what it feels like to feel discouraged. Playing on 5 different teams gave me the ability to face diversity and understand different points of views of my teammates and coaches. I've been a straight A student since my first time being in this Country and sports never get in the way of having high grades, so it shouldn't be a problem in college.
