Personal Statement

Hello! My name is Amree Powers! I am a senior Libero/DS that is ready to put in all the work it will take to strengthen my game. I believe that teamwork and communication is very important in order to be successful. One of my biggest accomplishments is being a part of the 2018 2A NCHSAA State Championship team! During the middle of my sophomore year, I was pulled up to varsity as a DS and worked very hard to prove my abilitlies. I earned a permanent spot in our rotation and I was able to play my heart out in the championship game! My junior year I was awarded 1st Team All-Conference Libero and an All-Albemarle player. I have also received Defensive Player of the Year twice (freshman/sophomore) and Captains Award my junior year.
