My name is Madison, I recently started playing volleyball my 8th grade year. I have grown more and more passionate about this sport throughout these past two short years... Not only because it is challenging and always keeps you on your toes, but because of the family you gain. Volleyball is a sport that pulls a team closer than any other sport there is, because with volleyball We are ONE... We need one another to soar... and We lift each other up, on and off the court. That is the aspect of the sport in which I find most plausible. I wish to achieve my goal of becoming a college student athlete and experience what its like to be a part of something bigger. I want to start my journey towards a well rounded future. I want a challenge...a change... Challenges and change are the things that keep life interesting, right?
I am different from other recruits in the sense that I want nothing more than to be better than I was yesterday. I will come to the gym every opportunity that I get, and put more work in than anyone on the team. I will meet my goals and conquer my challenges. I have been doing these things since I was a little girl putting 4 hours of work in a day during gymnastics. I am disciplined, coachable, and respectful. I can juggle the hardest courses offered, while playing sports and excel in both. I am one of the hardest working kids you will meet, and I am not one who believes in entitlement; I believe you have to earn what you want. I come from possibly the smallest town in the U.S, surrounded by those who don't always support what you are after... but I want this, and I am willing to work as hard as possible, day in and day out, to show that I do... that I am different.
