Personal Statement
I hope to complete an undergraduate college degree. As I move toward this goal, I would like to experience the competition and team work involved with college volleyball. I feel like my upbringing on a farm and in a rural community has given me a solid base in faith, hard work and motivation. I have always tried to excel at academics, as well as athletics and feel I can succeed at the collegiate academic level. I bring a variety of offensive and defensive skills to the volleyball court which would be valuable to the team. I have high school varsity experience beginning in the 8th grade and starting experience since the 9th grade. I play all-the-way around including service. I value teaching, coaching and experience of others and I am willing to accept the advice of these individuals to improve my game. I look forward to the discussion with coaches of how I can contribute to the success of their programs!
