Ever since I first stepped onto the court at 11 years old, I fell in love with this sport. I was always eager to learn more and educate myself to help me be the player that I always knew that I could be.
Currently, I am a senior at Salem Senior High School, located in Salem, Ohio. One of my goals is to attend college and play volleyball, as many players often want to do. Throughout playing high school and club volleyball, you tend to learn what your teammates, coaches, and spectators begin to think of you as. I have been classified as many things, but a there’s a few of them that stick out to me: a leader, hard worker, passionate, dedicated, communicator, role model, encouraging, and dependable player. With being a great asset to my high school and club teams, I believe that I would be a tremendous addition to any college volleyball team. As for my position, I am pretty flexible. I mainly am an Outside Hitter and Defensive Specialist, but my positions get moved around to wherever my team needs me the most at. I’ve played outside, rightside, defensive specialist, and sometimes in practice, I set when needed. I am the player that can read the ball and help myself and teammates know what’s coming next. I have a strong jump serve and incredible hustle. Because I am such a versatile player, I think that any position on any college team would be beneficial.
Aside from volleyball, I am a great student in the classroom and always push myself to get the best grades that I can achieve and try to maintain a high GPA.
I’d like to attend a college where I can push myself on the court and in the classroom. I am interested in finding any college that I can to play volleyball at.
