Hi I'm Lauren Anthony! I'm a 6'0 tall middle blocker out of Edmond, Oklahoma. I am a three year starter for Deer Creek High School Varsity, and this year I was chosen to lead the team as Captain. I play club for Oklahoma Peak Performance on their nationally ranked 1's team where I am a starter as well.
As a player, I am extremely hard working and a tireless competitor. As many coaches would tell you, I am very coachable and always give 110%. I consider myself to have a high court IQ. In addition, I have always valued sportsmanship and effort in every game I play and being a supportive leader and friend to my teammates on and off the court.
Academically, I have a 4.2 GPA as well as being in the top 1% of my class and the top 5% of my school. I have excelled in math and science throughout my school years as I am two grades ahead in both. As for a major, I have an interest in pre-medical programs which correlates with my love for science and helping others.
