I began playing volleyball in the summer of my 6th grade year. Ever since I stepped on the court I fell in love with the sport and knew I wanted to pursue this sport in college. When I was beginning volleyball I decided to join a club volleyball team. I was currently on a competitive dance team for multiple years. I had to choose between volleyball and dance, but I danced for 6 years and was very scared to quit something I enjoyed. I decided to quit dance and I do not regret my decision. Over the last year, I learned that you must work hard not only in practice but also out of practice at home. I do drills and workouts at home every day to make myself a better athlete. I enjoy watching my teammates succeed just as much as I like watching myself succeed. I hope to find a college that will help me further my academic and athletic career.
