My name is Lauryn Curtiss, I first got introduced into the world of volleyball in 6th grade when I had gone to watch a volleyball game at my school, and I knew right away that I wanted to get into it myself. When I started my first year, I automatically fell in love with the sport the close connection made with my team and coach but yet also the connection I had also made with volleyball. By the time of my freshman year, I knew that I had wanted to play volleyball in college. No matter who tells me I can't, I push through because volleyball is a sport I enjoy, it creates new bounds, friendships yet not only that the thrill of the long rallies, when your teammate gets a kill and getting the winning point of a close game with my team. So, to pursue my goals I'd stay after practices talk to my coaches daily about what to work on, how I can improve, and I'd take any opportunity to get better at volleyball.
