Anna Hoerning '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Anna Hoerning. I play on FC Elite's 16 Navy team.  My positions are starting middle blocker and right side hitter. My team plays in the 16 super open in the GLPL and we are nationally ranked quite high, as high as 3rd on the AES website.   We have taken first place in the following tournaments: Winter Classic (Milwaukee); FC Elite 18 (Menasha); The Showcase (WI Dells); and Badger Region Qualifier 16 (Menominee Falls). We placed 2nd in The Badger Region Champs 16 Open (Milwaukee). Since I have been playing volleyball since 12U, I can fill in where I am needed to best help my team.

I take honor classes at Xavier High School and am on the honor roll.  I am in the Key Club and working on my acceptance in the Spanish National Honor Society. My determination and hard work have helped me achieve success both in volleyball and academics.  While I have high personal goals, I am very team focused, and would love to bring that to the collegiate level!
