Helena Rodriguez '27 Recruiting Profile

I have been Wrestling since my freshman year of High School (one year). That year, I made it to CCS (Central Coast selection) and placed third at the BVALs (Blossom Vally Athletic League). I have always wanted to get a college degree. I believe that knowledge is the key to unlocking my desired life. I'm very interested in learning about the world around me and others who come around. As a child, I lived in Colorado with my biological mother and would visit my father over the summers. When I was 8 my mother committed suicide and I went to live with my family in California. Ever since then, I have aspired to make a better life for myself and my family. To me, my career ambition is to become a singer, I want to study music and make music for people to relate to. However, I also want to study forensic science if my first plan fails to follow through. I find researching serial killers, and the crimes they have done to be very engrossing. I could find myself becoming someone who studies causes of unusual deaths. Culinary arts would be another career I'm interested in working in, i love cooking for the people in my life, it makes me happy to see when people enjoy things i make for them.
