I have been playing and enhancing my basketball skills since elementary school, recently I have developed a certain love for the sport than I ever believed I would. These past two seasons of my high school career, I have been part of a League Championship Team for Lincoln High School's JV team, as well as being team captain my Sophomore year. I enjoyed the family and connections that I was able to build with each one of my teammates this past season. As for the rest of my schooling, I have maintained a good GPA my entire life and will continue to challenge myself well into my collegiate career. I have been a part of Leadership and/or a student government since the fourth grade and I am absolutely positive that it has helped define myself as the person I am today. It has given me a no quit work ethic and an extreme dedication, willingness and commitment to the things I choose to prioritize. Whenever I have been given the opportunity, I have poured my heart and soul into getting things done and I am most certain that I could bring this momentum and attitude to any team I am a part of. I strive to not only compete but better myself in any way possible throughout the rest of highschool, college and into the rest of my life.
College wise, I aspire to be a social psychologist. I have early on developed a strong passion in helping others with their psychological needs. I feel that this would be a suiting position to go into for the rest of my life as it is something I love doing yet can still put me up to a challenge at any point in time. Quite frankly, I think it is the best thing I could do with my life; if I could play basketball, one of the few other activities a genuinely love, while continuing my schooling, that would make life so much sweeter.
