Christian Paredes '22 Recruiting Profile

My goals and aspirations were always to make a name out there for myself and to receive that scholarship for my family that I always promised, wrestling wise the goal is always to be the best at your craft and to expect nothing less threw hard work and grind. What makes me a good candidate for anybody's wrestling team is I'm a hard worker I'm going to push myself and the people around me no matter who it is from the upper class to the younger class my attitude is I wanna be the best individually and the best as a team I'm a team player and when it comes down to the thick and thin I'm going to do what's best for the coaches and team. What makes me different from other recruits is plain and simple I'm hungry and I want to show my skill set aggression and attitude on the mat and I won't stop until I reach that goal as a college wrestler, I wrestle like my life's on the line if I'm losing a match I think of It like I'm about to die and I have to put every little bit of energy I have to win the wrestling match, wrestling is my life my craft it's my passion it's my everything I breathe sweat tear wrestling. In academics, I'm pretty solid my goal was always to do good in school so I was able to wrestle for a college one day.
