Being pulled up to varsity in ninth grade was definitely a huge milestone in my life and is something I will never forget. However, it came with some difficulties that made me grow as an athlete. Not only did these difficulties help me to transform into the athlete I am today, they also helped me grow as a person. They also allowed me to focus in on becoming an athlete and a student capable of competing at the college level.
During this journey I have learned the value of leadership, sacrifice and determination. This past year I was fortunate enough to take third place in the New York State qualifiers in Greco, and to be representing both freestyle and Greco in the 2018 Marines Cadet and Junior National Championships. Due to this, I believe I possess the commitment, work ethic and leadership skills to make an immediate positive influence on your program.
