Wrestling has truly become the most challenging yet rewarding commitment I have ever made. It requires mental stability and leadership characteristics. I believe that a leader is not defined by a position but by a person's character and ability to connect with a mission and lead others through it. I am excited to connect with a team that I can not only embrace my ability to lead when needed but to learn and grow. I take pride in being able to uplift and engage with my current teammates and training buddies. Even with past roles, I am always open to grow and learn from others; I am accountable, committed, motivated, and willing to do the work needed. I'm eager to compete at the collegiate level and have a ton of family support that is willing to assist me along the way.
My career succession plans have always involved my ability to giveback and it is what I like to refer to as my four “P” pathways to measure success: live out my passion in a way that will speak to my purpose in life, solve problems within my community, and ensure a pathway to sustainability. I value my education and all the opportunities within and I know wrestling will play a major role in all of it. I look forward to being an asset not only as an athlete but as a student. Starting wrestling only a few years ago is not a disadvantage, I believe it just means I'm extremely hungry, coachable, and ready for more.
