I am grateful to have had strong influencers in my life.  My club and high school coaches have had the greatest influence on my approach to academics, athletics and friendships.   My parents and coaches set great examples of success and high expectations which challenged me to be the best I could be.  I strive to compete every day to reach these objectives through exceptional commitment, work ethic and perseverance.  I enjoy and get high levels of satisfaction from the process of studying and practicing so that I may develop my skills and drive achievement. 

Playing tee ball at five years old introduced me to baseball but the challenge of club ball at nine years old created the foundation for the love of the game.  Many challenges and a few setbacks only strengthened my resolve and respect for the dedication needed to excel at a high level.  My best friends have always been my baseball teammates.  We depend on each other and I seek to perform at my very best to support our team as I get great enjoyment in contributing to the success of our team.

Each step of the way, I’ve sought to complete and prepare for the next level, both academically and athletically.  I intend to study engineering where I may grow skills to help make a difference throughout my work career.  Pursuing an engineering degree while competing and contributing to a collegiate baseball program would challenge and prepare me for success and achievement for the rest of my life.
