I have always enjoyed playing all sports. I have over time, narrowed down my school sponsored participation for basketball and baseball. While I really enjoy basketball, my main purpose for playing is to keep me in shape for baseball. I think it is important to condition all year to avoid injury and improve my skills. I plan to study physical education with the hope of becoming a teacher and coach. I believe sports and exercise teach not only the skills of the game but teamwork, confidence and self-control. I enjoy working with kids. I have volunteered in my church nursery and helped teach vacation bible school and I have coached 3rd grade basketball though park and Rec in my community. UPDATE - Junior College Career
I went on to DMACC Junior College in Boone Iowa in 2019. 2019 season ended with Tommy John surgery in Feb 2019. I had to learn to how to throw with a different arm angle due to the surgery. In 2020, I came back and pitched in one game after recovery but due to COVID, the season ended. I played for DMACC 2021 (Redshirt COVID Freshman) and pitched a total 11 innings in relief (9 appearances). Over my last 4 appearances, I pitched 7 2/3 innings with an ERA of 3.75 with 8 strikeouts and 3 walks. Currently, I'm playing in the Expedition Summer League for Souris Valley Sabre Dogs.
