Personal Statement
I’m Reese Hutchins from Paducah, Kentucky. I play baseball for the Kentucky Diamond Kings, a major league travel team. I’m also a 2-year starter for the Paducah Tilghman High School varsity baseball team. Catcher is my primary position, but I enjoy playing every position on the field. In the last year, I’ve been a starting catcher, pitcher, shortstop, second base and outfielder for my travel and high school baseball teams. I believe my experience in these different positions has made me into a very versatile and knowledgeable baseball player. It is my dream to be able to play college baseball, but academics are also a priority for me. My weighted GPA is 4.0+, and I scored a 35 on the ACT. I have challenged myself by taking every honors and AP class available to me thus far.
