My name is Michael Nicholas, a senior at Plymouth High School. I am a 3-year Varsity catcher, MIF who can adapt and has played multiple positions when the team needed it. I am a hardworking player with a solid baseball IQ. I value a driven, cohesive team and good coaching. I will use every solid inch of my frame to help my pitchers perform at their best. I have a good read on baserunners and the flow of the game. I am a grinder who has a good rapport with my pitchers, keeping them locked in on the game plan. My goal is to play at the next level and continue to pursue a degree in computers and programming.

- PG GRADE: 8 Michael Nicholas is a 2024 C/RHP, 2B, MIF, UT with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Canton, MI who attends Plymouth. Recorded a 7.12 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with a compact frame. Begins from a low set behind the plate and gained ground well. Ball came out well and used a clean arm action. Quality athlete behind the dish with arm strength. Recorded a pop time of 2.07 in drills. Also worked out in the infield and displayed clean glovework. Solid arm strength across and used a quick release. Right-handed hitter and starts from a medium base with even feet. Swings with lots of intent and showed a middle of the field approach, producing liners. Solid bat speed and hands stay loose. Low hand load and creates separation. Secondary right-handed pitcher and begins delivery with a small leg lift. Compact arm action and clean delivery, releasing from a high slot. Fastball topped at 79 mph and flashed an 11-5 shaped curveball. Mixed in a short slider/cutter and competed well on mound. - Perfect Game Grade:7 Michael Nicholas is a 2024 C/IFwith a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Canton, MI who attends Plymouth. Recorded a 7.38 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame with a lean build and plenty of room to fill. Primary catcher with a high and side straddle set up, tends to stand straight up to receive rather than staying low throughout the process. Gains a lot of ground towards second base with his footwork, has some quickness in the lower half and carries his momentum well. Smooth and fluid transfers, gets the ball out quick. Secondary infielder with a quick plant and fire, has some young arm strength and gets the ball out in time. Has some twitch to the lower half, developing lateral range with solid footwork and glove work. Right-handed hitter with a slightly open base and balanced stance, utilizes a quick lift and replace trigger with a deep and high hand set. Shows a downhill bat path with a flat launch, sprayed it around to all fields with mostly ground ball contact.
