Dominic Wojdyla '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Dominic Wojdyla and I am a Junior at Southern Regional High School.  I am a left-handed hitting 2nd baseman and catcher that throws right. I love the game of baseball! I work hard every day to improve my skills. I know the value of respect to my fellow team mates, coaches and umpires. I believe that my attitude and my behavior is very important on and off the field and I take pride in how I act.  With living in New Jersey its hard to play baseball all year round, but I find a way 12 months to be pushing myself to make sure I am always improving.  I train for my speed, strength and agility. I work on my fielding, catching and hitting skills every opportunity that is available to me.  I have a very supportive family that will go to no measure to make sure I am taking advantage of that all that is available to me.
In my experience I have been able to support my teams in several different positions and have been able to learn and succeed in each one.  I played outfield for 2 years with playing infield, catching and pitching. I feel that being a utility player has given me the experience and the knowledge of the entire game. I feel that I've found a home at catcher and 2nd but wherever my coaches need me, I will play to the best of my ability.
I am looking for a school with a good academic program and a high level of competitive baseball.  I believe with my strength, courage and talent, I will succeed in baseball and in the career path that I chose.
