The highlight of my baseball career was winning a State Championship 2022, my freshman year of high school as one of the few starting freshman. I attribute that moment to the hard work that I have put in with 10 years of club/travel baseball, school baseball, and private lessons. My sophomore year we fell short in the Regional tournament which I feel actually taught me the most. We, as a team, learned developed more character, leadership and work ethic that we plan to put into play this coming junior during our fight to a second State Championship. As I have become an upper classman, I have moved into a leadership role on both my high school and club/travel teams, not only in baseball but also throughout many years of wresting, football and basketball as a multisport athlete. I have great character on and off the field and have become a leader on my teams and a mentor to younger athletes in my town. I enjoy helping with youth sports camps as an instructor with my friends and teammates.
I have a 4.3 GPA and ranked number 1/210 as class rank. I am in AP classes since 2021 and have been given opportunity to be selected in the STEMS program where I was chosen as the Most Outstanding Male STEM Student that same year. Since, I have also been selected into the Biomedical Science Academy at Red River Technology Center and currently plan to pursue a career in either Medicine or Veterinary Medicine.
My work ethic in the classroom is paralleled on the athletic fields and court. Every single play is the most important one of the game. I give my 110% with every play and as a captain and leader on my teams encourage my teammates to do the same. The extra early morning workouts and sports medicine training, in addition to the regular practices, have really improved my strength and agility this past year as well as lessened risk of injury as has being a multisport athlete. I have also been blessed to be given the opportunity to train with excellent private coaches from middle school to current and have had, and continue to have, some excellent club/travel/school coaches that have help with my continued development into the athlete that I have been able to become. I hope to be given the opportunity to continue my career and development in either baseball or football at the collegiate level with passion as I pursue excellence in academics in order to advance into postgraduate education.
