Noah Machek '16 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a sophomore at Scranton Preparatory School in Scranton, PA. I have been playing sports since I was five years old. In the past I have played travel soccer, basketball and baseball. I also played freshman football at Prep. Baseball has always been my first love and as of 2013 I have decided to concentrate solely on it. In the spring I started on the JV team. In the summer I was double rostered on Valley View Post 411 American Legion teams and in the fall with the Moosic Mets travel team. The past winter I trained twice a week with Greg Legg, manager Lakewood Blueclaws Philadelphia Phillies Class A affiliate. Academically, I am an Ignatius Scholar recipient at Prep and I continue to work hard at improving my grade point average. I consider myself to be a hard working student athlete who strives to improve through a strong work ethic, discipline and love of the game. I am looking for an opportunity to study and play in a strong academic and athletic environment.
