I have always struggled inside the classroom due to a learning disability. I have an IEP that has helped me throughout the last few years but I excel on the baseball field. On the field I don’t have to worry about focusing on one particular thing I just play the game that I know and love. This past year I was a starter on a first year team at my school. During that season not only did I get to excel at the sport but I also helped a lot of the younger players learn and provided tips to better their skill. I am looking for a program and school that will allow me to play the game that I love but also help me excel academically.
