Personal Statement
I have spent my high school career playing as many sports as I could, and during this time I have developed a great understanding of teamwork and effort. Baseball has always been where my heart and passion lies. Ever since I could walk I have honestly had a ball in my hand. I have been to between 15-20 baseball camps up and down the East Coast. I am committed to my baseball success. Growing up in a small, Southern WV town hinders the amount of creditability and interest I have received over the years. I would be a good candidate for any hard working team because I am hard working and committed to do whatever it takes. I would consider my character different from other recruits because my attitude is extremely positive. I can keep a positive mindset reguardless of the situation. If I make an error, I quickly move on from it and do not let that one error ruin the rest of my game. You can guarantee there will always be a smile on my face. Having a positive mindset with the ability to move forward rather than dwell on the past is critical in athletics, and that is me. As far as academics, I have always excelled without an extreme amount of effort. The work just came natural to me. I highly value academics, and plan to pursue my goal to become a pharmacist.
