Angelique Santiago '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello,my name is Angelique Santiago, from the ages of 5-7 I was on a prep cheer team. At the age of 11 was when my interest with competitive cheer really sparked. In my first year I was on a level 2, 12 and under team. In my third year of cheer I continued to be on a level 2, 18 and under team. As I am entering my fourth year of cheer I am on a level 1,18 and under cheer team. During my sophomore year I was introduced to high school cheer and have continued to do it throughout my junior year.I have been in varsity high school cheer for two years.Throught my cheer career I have been put in all positions of level 2 and level 1 main base,side base,backspot, and front spotter. 

During the summer of 2023 I faced one of my biggest setbacks. I had broken my radius bone while tumbling, although this was an extreme setback it truly revealed how dedicated I could be towards this sport. It also demonstrated to me how motivated I am to show that, despite my injury, I remain capable of what it takes.
