Tristan Roper '19 Recruiting Profile

As a incoming junior, I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do after I graduate college. Being part of a "family" is important to me, so I'm looking for colleges that will support me both academically and socially. Because I value "family" so much, I believe communication and leadership are among the top strengths I bring to a team. I could say that my blocking ability or my understanding of the game make me stand out among recruits. But honestly, as an offensive lineman, it's more important to me that I serve as one of a team of five lineman where my individual success only matters if if benefits my unit and, ultimately, my team. However, there are some things I feel I do particularly well. Pass protection and its proper technique are things I take pride in doing well, which help me lead by example and not necessarily by giving my teammates pep talks.

I am looking forward to the process of finding the best fit for me as a college athlete and would love to talk with any coaches who feel I could add to their team.
