At 8 years old on my first pass attempt, I threw a touchdown. In that instance, I was forever in love with the game of football. Football is the highest form of competition with myself.
I make it my job to never be outworked in any aspect of my life. I pride myself on my academic achievements, as well as my athletic ones. College isn't a goal, it's the expectation I have set for myself. Playing college football is the pinnacle of that expectation. I have a 4.0 grade point average and am ranked top of my class, while playing sports year round. I am currently on pace to spend my junior and senior year in concurrent enrollment. My plan is to go into the Sports Medicine field focusing on strength and conditioning athletes. Faith plays a major role in my life as well. I am active with my church youth group and Bulldogs For Christ, our school's Fellowship of Christian Athletes program.
At 14 years old, I threw my first varsity touchdown. In that moment with the fans cheering and my brothers on the field celebrating, I felt a self-pride that I had never felt before. That feeling is addicting and I want to do everything in my power to make it happen time and time again.
