Fisher Perry '21 Recruiting Profile

     First and foremost sports do not define who I am.  My life’s goal is to glorify God as a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and to hopefully hear: “ Well done good and faithful servant” when I walk through the gates of heaven.  I have been blessed with the athletic ability to compete as a three sport athlete. I have often been complimented by my coaches for my humility as well as my ability by being told that I am the most athletic player on the team.  I am thankful for sports by experiencing team work, commitment, and sacrifice.

  This past football and baseball season, as a starting sophomore at Ooltewah High’s 6A school, was a great learning experience and a test of faith.  In football,  the intent of the coaches and myself was to be utilized as a quarterback, yet quickly I was asked to sacrifice my goals to fill the receiver position.  The results were fulfilling after being awarded a member of the 6A All region team. After making it to the East Tennessee district tournament, I learned that I could compete at the higher level with the necessary self discipline and learned to be flexible to be used where most needed.

   Because I am home schooled, I have had the benefit of learning at the pace my ability allowed for.  Therefore, academically speaking, I am looking for a program that will feed me athletically as well as academically, while also seeking to be interviewed for the opportunity of being part of a first class organization.  I believe I have what it takes to compete at the collegiate level including but not limited to my character traits, work ethic and necessary leadership skills.  Thereby having the opportunity to impact those I am associated with.
