Carter Bir '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Carter Bir. I am a Texas 6A Varsity Quarterback.

My teammates have counted on me to be a strong, solid leader. Coaches and teachers who believe in potential and can bring out the best in others have significantly impacted my life. I’ve learned that it takes both God-given talent and commitment to be great at anything. I am very fortunate have a home life and resources that have helped me develop and stay on track with school and sports. Over the past two years I have helped my teammates to better support and look out for each other and for those less fortunate.

As QB, I am calm and patient under pressure with the ability to escape the pocket and complete the pass. I am 16 years old, 6’1” and 180 lbs. Over the next year I will continue to build size and strength with a realistic goal of reaching 195lbs. I will also continue to work on speed and agility and take my 40 yard dash from 4.69 to 4.55.

While open to all 4-year schools, I am most interested in those that will prepare me for a career in large animal veterinary medicine and offer a competitive football program and coaching team.
